Tom Ashburn is a very active, day-to-day
Agent, Broker Associate and Top Producer with Russell & Jeffcoat Realtors,
Inc. in Columbia, SC. He received his Real Estate License in 1987 and attained
his Broker License in 1990. For the last 15 years Ashburn has taken the
direction of his personal Residential Real Estate Practice into a specialty of
working with and for the owner-sellers of residential real estate and is considered
by many in the industry to be an authority on working with Sellers.
Tom saw the need for a Seller Representation Specialty early in his real estate
career, due to the general public’s lack of understanding of the fact that
for many, many years, nationwide and in the Midlands of South Carolina, 35% to
45% of all listed properties Do Not Sell. Tom felt that if he developed
this concentrated program he could improve the results for those seller-clients
whom he is able to represent.
Tom developed his unique and exclusive 54 Point - Ultimate
Exposure Marketing and Merchandising System in the early 1990’s.
This program has resulted in Tom’s listed properties selling, on average,
in much less time, for a higher than average sales price and with little or no
inconvenience to the owner-seller. Through the use of this exclusive marketing & merchandising
system, almost all of Tom’s listings do, in fact, sell. The
unique system is so effective and complete that it works throughout the Midlands
of SC and equally as well for the sale of a starter home or an expensive luxury
home . . . in all price ranges and in every subdivision and in every area of
the Midlands.
Tom formed The Ashburn Group, LLC in the early 1990’s to work
within the large traditional real estate broker framework and is a Broker Associate
and Top Producer with Russell & Jeffcoat Realtors, Inc. Tom was the first
real estate agent in South Carolina to limit his personal practice to the specialty
of Seller Client Representation.
Based on his outstanding achievements in real estate over the past 20 years,
especially in the Listing side of the business, Hugh Ryall Seminars-RealtyU invited
him to join our staff as a Senior Designation Instructor for the Accredited Seller
Representative (ASR) course and the Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS).
We feel he is a valued addition to our faculty and brings to our students a level
of expertise that is rarely found in other classrooms. |
