I was born in Hickory, NC. We moved to Greenville, SC when I was two and then to Florence, SC when I was nine. I graduated from McClenaghan High School in Florence and attended Winthrop College in Rock Hill. I moved to Columbia in 1969 and have been here ever since.
Hugh and I opened Earth Available Realty, Inc. as partners in January of 1991. In December of 1992 we broadened our partnership by getting married - both partnerships have worked out extremely well! Between them, they have three children and five grandchildren (who are the delight of their lives!)
